Hiatus, 2015/02/23

I'm taking a recommended hiatus from LifeNotes for several weeks.  And I considered that doing the same, here, might also be wise.  Probably for a shorter period.  Saturday, we will be sharing the recent sermon by Pastor Scibelli that we promised.  Beyond that, we'll see.  But there's more today.

After Ann Voskamp's tweets on prayer that we shared Saturday, I thought a little meditation was in order.  Our beginning illustration is titled "Balance".  If you're familiar at all with eastern meditation and yoga, it might be familiar in style.  While there are vast differences in beliefs and forms of meditation between eastern and western religions, we too have our balancing contrasts.  Here are a graphic of J. C. Ryle quote that is important to consider, followed by my favorite verse, always worth meditating on.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
