Letting Humility Rule Us‏

It seems like Wednesday is not just our day for guest posts, videos, tech posts, etc.  It also seems to be when we post our site announcements.  So, here's more.

You may have noticed the site navigation links at the top of the page have expanded.  We've added a page listing our books (most recent first).  The covers, titles, and descriptions are included.  And the text titles link to the Amazon page for that book.

Second, we'll be reviewing Pastor Jason Moore's latest book very soon.  And, shortly after that, we'll be posting an interview with him.  We're excited to be able to share those blessings with you on upcoming Wednesdays.

Today, we have more great insights from our friend, Todd Parsons.  This time, he looks at humility placing us in our rightful position in God's kingdom.

Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor is humility, Prov 18:12.

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that rules his spirit than he that takes a city, Prov 16:32.

A wise man scales the city of the mighty, and casts down the strength of the confidence thereof.  Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles, Prov 21:22-23.

Be not wise in my own eyes, fear the LORD, and depart from evil, Pr. 3:7.

Let it be God's knowledge, God's wisdom, and God's understanding that leads you; for it is the LORD that leads us to honor.  His honor and not our own...

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord, 2 Cor 3:17-18.
