Concentration on the Living Word

Here's another thought worth considering from Todd Parsons:

"Concentration on the Word of God is the highest form of worship". This is a quote from my late Pastor Stevens and I am still to this day taught this very principle. That I would give the Lord my undivided attention to hear the Lord speak with His still small voice to the inner man.

I am growing to find that the life's storms have no dominion over Him, no matter how high the wind and waves seem, and I receive that benefit as I am with Him, following His lead, giving Him my concentration, my attention, receiving His instruction...

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name, Ps 138:2.

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus, Matt 14:27-29.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Eph 5:15.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, Heb 12:2.

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defile, ;Heb 12:15.

"Don't Quit!" the Grace of God, when you are sink amidst the waves...

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof, Matt 6:33-34.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen, 1 Tim 1:17.
