Come and Look, Don't Quit

Some fresh thoughts from Todd Parsons:

"Begin to know Him now, and finish never", a phrase from O. Chambers devotional yesterday, rehearses in my heart a phrase from my Pastor who has passed into eternity and is present with the Lord, "Don't Quit".

We all can receive situations in our lives that baffle us and discourage us. How do we not quit? To have a lightened load to carry will make us free, that quitting will not even be a consideration, for it is like we have no work at all, but a JOY! We Lay aside all to run the race looking away from ourselves unto Jesus Christ...

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light, Matt 11:28-30.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.   For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds, Heb 12:1-3.

Faint not, but come and look, learn to be conscious of Jesus Christ this day, in everything!

Of So Great Love, we are, tjp
