Let God Speak to You

We're modifying our publishing schedule slightly to fit some other things in our schedule.  So, guest posts and videos will be on Wednesdays -- at least till further notice.  Also, this is one of the last personal devotionals from Todd Parsons.  No, nothing serious has happened.  But Todd's job and work schedule have changed.  Previously, he had some meditation time, the results of which have sometimes been shared here.  I still get to see some of the devotional material that blesses Todd.  But, since it is the published work of others, we can't post that here.  So, without further ado, let's get to Todd's starting verse.

God said, Let there be light; and there was light. -- Genesis 1:3.

God's Word spoke light into existence and there is nothing that Satan has been able to do to counteract it...

Therefore being justified(declared righteous) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, -- Romans 5:1.

God's Word has spoken again here and has declared us, those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, to be righteous, i.e., to have a right standing with God, thus making peace... The only thing that can hinder the sunshine are clouds, which are but for a moment. Satan may be able for a moment to blind our minds from the Son Shine, but we need only the Word and His Spirit to reveal that light to our hearts under those clouds ... and we will see Him clearly.

The entrance of Thy Words give light; they give understanding to the simple. -- Psalm 119:130.

He gives greater the humble. -- James 4:6.

Of So Great Love, we are, tjp
