What are you feeding?

Mat 17:20 And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

The hot topic these days is the potential downward economic spiral. Recently, I spoke with a gentleman who was wondering if he should spend money on a necessary home repair or wait to spend money. My response to him was that, if we "live" in a fear of economic possibilities, we generate a self-fulfilling prophecy. Henry Ford is quoted as saying something like, "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right." And John Maxwell's reading for November 10th speaks of the fact that we always feed one of two emotions -- we can feed fear or we can feed faith.

Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for & evidence of things not seen. We have a great big God, so why live in a puny economy? It's true that we want to practice wisdom & restraint. But which emotion will you feed today -- fear or faith?
